Parents, carers and prospective students enjoyed a guided tour of Springbank during our second Principal’s tour on Friday 4 September. Following a short meeting in our impressive Tower Art Centre theatre, soon to be upgraded with state-of-the-art sound and light technology, groups headed out to visit Springbank’s learning areas and personally experience how we ‘ignite, inquisitive, imaginations’.

The first stop took in our acclaimed three-court basketball stadium with café, clubrooms and modern basketball training equipment, before a short walk to Springbank’s recently built Trade Training Centre where future builder and carpenters are born and raised.

A journey through the science labs where year 12 students were completing their environmental science sample observations, then off to visit the interdisciplinary classroom spaces which have earned us great praise from parents and community leaders in recent years for their focus on inclusivity and individualised learning outcomes.

The tour was scheduled for an hour, however, many visitors stayed behind to talk with students and staff about how our school nurtures happy, positive and successful learners.
